The first building permit was granted for the Port Entry Building,
it will be followed by the Service Building dedicated to Transmanche Users, near the platforms.
Both will have a High Environmental Quality profile.
Around ten buildings will be built on the Calais Port 2015 site to:

welcome port customers and offer them new services,

host the French and British regulatory services and facilitate control operations,

provide shipping companies with the means to optimize their operations,
-
provide the port of Boulogne Calais with modern and welcoming premises.
More than 80 booths and counters will be located along the travellers’ route and about fifteen sanitary blocks will be accessible in the service buildings but also on the pre-boarding car parks. A large amount of design data has been integrated as a result of many meetings, particularly with architects and future occupants, to achieve the most complete version possible during the design phase, each building having very specific functions.
Construction of the buildings on the newly created platforms will start in 2019.
