The construction of the P11/P12 pier is progressing.
This set of 10 boxes for a total of 300 meters long is composed of 282 H profiles and 833 meters of sheet piling set as a mixed curtain wall.
No.10 box was filled up with sand and compacted by vibro flotation, the tie rods installation is in progress on box No.1. Tie rods were prepared on land and then set up by teams of divers as the work was progressing. All other boxes will be filled up with sand in the next months and then compacted.
The installation of the prefabricated beams of the PRAD was recently completed
thus connecting the pier to the land.
