Under the usual beautiful sunshine of the “Côte d’Opale”, a good example of communication for the general public was inaugurated on Friday 14th June by Emmanuel Agius, First Deputy Mayor of the City of Calais, Arnaud Grévoz, Director of the Calais Port 2015 project for the Design & Construction JV, Jean-Marc Puissesseau, President of the Port Boulogne-Calais and Laurent Devulder, Chief Executive Officer, Société des Ports du Détroit.
This summer, 40 exhibition panels will present the construction site, its history, the passionate women and men who every day participate in this great story, with an Xbloc® “graffitied” by Vyrius, a promising urban artist from Calais, placed on the promenade.
A great initiative of the Calais City Hall and the Design & Construction JV both for short-stay tourists and the Calaisians who particularly appreciate walking on this dike facing the sea and the port.
